Открыл как-то раз Модя свой инвентарь, увидел совершенно лишний параметр " +Мф. крита" на кинжалах и подумал: "Надо от этой дряни избавляться!". Долго Модя не думал: отправился в  Заброшенные Равнины и поинтересовался у Шейлы, как же перенести его в более полезный "Мф. увертывания"? Наглая, но мудрая алхимичка ответила, что отряд алхимиков из другой непорядочной трещины изучали одно из свойств материи Хаоса: изменчивость, и что как раз они могут ему помочь. Долог был Модин путь, и так он попал в  Девилс сити, где и располагается второй Излом Хаоса. Местный алхимик и поставил ему следующие условия:
- Чтобы изменить свойства предметов, необходимо иметь при себе саму вещь и сущность слота Хаоса.
- Сущность слота Хаоса можно купить в местном магазине, выменяв на 100/300/500 образцов изменчивости.
- Образцы изменчивости добываются именно в этом Изломе Хаоса, аналогично образцам в Изломе с Шейлой.
- Обмен производится по курсу 1:1, но менять можно только подобные параметры, такие как мф. уворота - на антикрит/крит/антиуворот, статы - на статы, контру - на парир и блок щитом и так далее.
- Модификация производится на алтаре где-то рядом. Возможно обменивать 5/10/15 базовых мф., 1/2/3 статов или 3/6/9 профильных мф. в зависимости от силы сущности слота (которая зависит от стоимости).
- Обменивать параметры, улучшенные руной или чаркой - невозможно.
- Возможно иметь только одну модификацию. Стереть старую можно на том же алтаре.
